Question 1. Asked by @Dantvman

@BigJim_SFL with no manning, should i play d branch or d amendola over austin collie?

Answer

Without Peyton, I don’t trust Collie very much.  Manning made a lot of the Colts better players than they can be without him.  I’m not saying that Collie wont be a factor anymore, rather than I want to see him play some in this new offense before I risk starting him.  Amendola is third on the depth chart at receiver so this week he’ll be covered by either Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie or Asante Samuel… I’d just sit him down as I think the Rams are going to get crushed.  That leaves you with Branch, who is a fine play considering Tom Brady is still the QB in New England.

Question 2. Asked by @KifuTheGREAT

@BigJim_SFL I must decide to play Braylon Edwards or Mike Sims-Walker. Any suggestions. Thanks.

Answer

Sims-Walker is too risky against the stacked Eagles secondary and with Crabtree injured I think Edwards has a decent chance for a big game.  To me, the choice is pretty easy as Edwards is both the safer pick and he has higher upside.

Question 3. Asked by @MFarrell21

Who to start as my 3rd WR in a PPR league? Amendola or Harvin and why?

Answer

Amendola is third on the depth chart and likely to face off against Rodgers-Cromartie. I don’t like this match up.  Harvin does also have an unfavorable match up, but he has a more reliable QB and running game to take the pressure off the passing game.  Also, he is the only viable receiver for McNabb to throw to and I expect them to use him.

Week 16 Gameday Injury Update

POSTED BY Big Jim | No Comments »

Anthony Dixon, RB, SF - Active
Todd Heap, TE, BAL - Inactive
Shaun Hill, QB, DET - Active
Maurice Jones-Drew, RB, JAC - Inactive
Mike Sims-Walker, WR, JAC - Active

The news about MJD causes a disturbance in my rankings. I view Jennings as my 15th ranked RB for the week.  Even though it is the Super Bowl, his recent productivity as the back up eliminates a lot of the risk involved in playing a back-up filling in for injury.  I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and I wish you all the best of luck in your Super Bowl or playoff match up!

Waiver Wire Pickups and The Dump List for Week 11

POSTED BY Big Jim | No Comments »

Pickups

Mewelde Moore, RB, PIT – I don’t quite understand why Mendenhall saw such a limited number of carries this week, but if Moore is able to keep seeing such a big workload then he will steal some of the value that Mendenhall has had in the first half of the season.  I wouldn’t be comfortable starting him quite yet, but Sunday night’s game makes it so that Moore has to be owned in standard leagues.

Reggie Bush, RB, NO - If you have owned Reggie in the past, then you understand this warning; he is an incredibly frustrating guy to own!  Bush has never been a very strong option for fantasy owners, but his big play ability can provide some incredibly high-scoring weeks.  Unfortunately for you, it is seemingly at random and almost impossible to predict.  If Pierre Thomas remains inactive after the return of Bush, I will likely rate him as a RB2 because of the additional, more traditional, carries that will fall to him.

Danny Amendola, WR, STL – It isn’t like he is going to become an elite receiver or anything considering how long it has been since his last big game, but he is definitely still worth owning.  The Rams are playing some very solid football this season this will not be the last time Amendola will have a productive outing for fantasy owners.  If you are in a PPR format, this could be a very solid flex play in the 2nd half given there are no dominant secondaries left on their schedule.

Justin Forsett, RB, SEA – I still like Marshawn Lynch the most of the RBs in Seattle, but with more fantasy points coming from Forsett this week than Lynch… we will have to keep a close eye on how the workload gets divided up.  This week against the Cardinals, Forsett managed more than double the yardage of Lynch on less carries and both of them were able to manage a touchdown.

Kevin Smith, RB, DET - If you can’t produce a decent amount of yardage against the Bills defense, then your probably not someone fantasy owners should trust!  Jahvid Best came in at 11 in my rankings and was only able to manage THREE points on his 21 touches.  Smith on the other-hand only saw 9 touches and with his production in the receiving game he was able to manage 5 points.  Neither are really worth the start until one produces consistently… but both should be owned for the time being.

Cadillac Williams, RB, TB - Blount is definitely the guy for the Buccaneers running game, but Cadillac is solid flex option/handcuff for the playoffs and second half of the season.  Especially considering the really easy schedule the Bucs have for your fantasy playoffs!

Dump List

CJ Spiller, RB, BUF – Take his complete lack of production and the HUGE performance from Freddie Jackson and add in the hamstring injury that took Spiller out of this game… there is literally no upside left to make you wanna cling to this bad draft day decision.

Roy Williams, WR, DAL – Even with the complete turnaround of the Cowboys this week, I don’t see it worth holding Williams if there is someone of value available on the waiver wire.  Kitna is a game manager and is not likely to be able to keep THREE receivers as viable options for fantasy owners.

Mike Sims-Walker, WR, JAC – I am sure there will be at least one more good performance from MSW this season, but if he couldn’t manage one against the Texans… how can you trust him again!?  Go pick up Mike Thomas if you really want a Jaguars receiver!

Waiver Wire Pickups and The Dump List for Week 9

POSTED BY Big Jim | No Comments »

Pickups

LeGarrette Blount, RB, TB – Blount had a big game this week with a soft match up against the Cardinals.  The Cards made a change at QB midway through the game and they were actually able to achieve some offensive production.  I liked Blount a lot in this game considering how inept the Cardinals offense has been over the past few weeks.  This game ended up being close, but by adding a dynamic running game to the mix, the Buccs were able to get a well-deserved win.  Look for Blount to stay the feature back for Tampa Bay and develop into a great RB 2 option.

Kevin Smith, RB, DET – Jahvid Best burst onto the scene at the very beginning of the regular season and since week 2 he has been average at best.  This past week Smith and Best split carries evenly (12 a piece)  Smith’s stock is rising.  Due to his increased involvement in the passing game and break away speed, I would rather own Best than Smith… but that will change soon given how long it has been since Best has found the end zone.

Darrius Heyward-Bey, WR, OAK – The Raiders have been a surprise team this year so far.  Their biggest area of concern is at the WR position.  They really need someone to step up and prove to be a consistent threat (other than Zach Miller).  We can’t just assume Heyward-Bey is that guy after one game, but given his ability to make plays in a variety of ways (including a 30 yard run) he is the only WR on that team worth owning… just in case.

Nate Washington, WR, TEN – It is not yet known if Britt will miss any time yet, but since non-contact injuries have a tendency to cause a player to miss a few weeks (see Malcom Floyd) someone will need to pick up the slack at the WR position in Tennessee. This is def a double-edged sword though with Vince Young also leaving the game with an ankle injury, but Kerry Collins is one of the best backup QBs in the NFL and will keep the Titans offense afloat.

Mike Sims-Walker, WR, JAC - I wouldn’t go get him, but with how well David Garrard played this week… if you are in a deep format or are just simply a believer in Garrard, MSW and the Jaguars… then holding this receiver on your bench for a couple weeks to see if he rebounds isn’t a terrible idea.

Keiland Williams, RB, WAS – This is a very deep league suggestion only, given that Portis will be back before long and the RB situation in Washington will be a complete mess.  Williams is slowly finding his way into the Skins’ offense and is getting touches that we all thought where reserved for Torain.  Given how seemingly random the carries get shared under Mike Shanahan all three guys are own-able (in 14+ team leagues) until one of the backs in Washington wins over the coach.  My guess is Portis though.

Brandon Tate, WR, NE – After the emergence of Deion Branch in his first game back with the Patriots, it is very likely that whoever grabbed Tate bailed and re-released him.  This was a mistake!  If this happened in your league go grab him.  He has a gorgeous long TD catch this past week where he extended his route down the field and got open for Brady, who was under pressure.  Plays like this make a QB fall in love with their WR pretty quickly and the Pats need a deep threat.

Dump List

Tim Hightower, RB, ARI – With the Cardinals able to move the ball effectively this week and putting up 35 points, it was surprising to see Hightower get only two total touches.  LaRod Stephens-Howling was a surprise to take the 2nd most touches… but since it was only four you can’t add him yet.

Marion Barber, RB, DAL - With the Cowboys running game being entirely ineffective so far this season and Felix Jones being a dynamic player, I see no reason to hold onto Barber any longer.  He will be at best a goal line back the rest of the year and with Kitna at QB his chances from the one will be limited.

Jonathan Stewart, RB, CAR – He has been really disappointing in his #2 role so far this year.  With DeAngelo Williams missing last week due to injury it was expected that Stewart would perform admirably in his absence… but that was incorrect.  He had 14 carries and only 30 yards rushing in a very disappointing outing. If he can’t produce as a lead back against the Rams… why would you bother to trust him when he returns to his #2 spot on the depth chart? Once we know Williams is back you can drop Stewart.

Patrick Crayton, WR, SF - He had a bad day this week in a good win for the Chargers who are trying to claw their way back into playoff contention.  With Vincent Jackson coming back soon and Malcom Floyd and Legadu Naanee coming back from injury soon, just bail on Crayton now.

Chris Ivory, RB, NO - Thomas and Bush are due to return this week, barring any setbacks in their recovery.  After a bad game statistically, in a tough win last night, Ivory is not worth a roster spot any more.

Ladell Betts, RB, NO - See Chris Ivory.

Eddie Royal, WR, DEN – Fantasy owners might not realize this given the numbers that Orton and Lloyd have been putting up… but the Broncos suck. After dropping to the 9ers in England this week the Broncos are now 2-6.  With the yearly Chargers resurgence in November and December the Broncos have eliminated themselves from the playoff race already and it is only a matter of time before the young-guns are allowed to take over.  Enter Tim Tebow and Demaryius Thomas.

Roy Williams, WR, DAL – Did you guys hear? Roy Williams isn’t that good!  After being one of the receivers that let a pass deflect off his hands and get intercepted this past week, it is apparent that he won’t be developing any trust with Kitna soon.  While Kitna may be an adequate back up… he will not be able to keep three receivers alive for fantasy owners.

Love and Hate Lists for Week 5

POSTED BY Big Jim | No Comments »

Love

Maurice Jones-Drew, RB, JAC – Despite his slow start, MJD is making his 2nd straight appearance on my love list this week.  He had a huge day last week against a struggling Colts defense and this week goes against the Bills who are allowing an average of 174 yards per game.

Peyton Manning, QB, IND – The Chiefs defense has been playing well lately, but primarily against the run.  The league’s last undefeated team is likely to fall this week against a pissed off Colts team led by their passing game.  The Chiefs corner backs have struggled some this season.  With Garcon likely to be returning this week and Collie proving to be a reliable threat, Manning should have a big day.

Roddy White, WR, ATL – Roddy White has been an incredibly consistent threat for the Falcons.  He leads the league with 50 targets and has yet to have a week with single digit fantasy points.

Jamaal Charles, RB, KC - That Colts run defense who has allowed big games to opposing RBs so far this year faces a dynamic two headed attack lead by Charles.  I like Thomas Jones this week as well, but Charles is the guy who breaks the long TD runs and he has twice the talent that Jones does.

Ryan Mathews, RB, SD – The Raiders have the 2nd worst run defense in the NFL and now that Mathews has been rested and eased back from injury, it is time for him to take the reigns back and he should have a  big game this week.

Jahvid Best, RB, DET – Best saw more work last week than I thought he would.  He has to go against a surprisingly good Rams team this week, but Shaun Hill has done more than enough to keep the Lions players alive in fantasy football.

Tony Romo, QB, DAL – The Titans have allowed two straight 300 yard passers and with the extra week to prepare I expect Romo and the Cowboys to have a big day and continue their rebound from their 0-2 start.

Hakeem Nicks, WR, NYG - Steve Smith is no longer Eli Manning’s go-to-guy, that is now Nicks.  He has great hands and is very effective over the middle and in the red zone which will lead to him leading the team in both receptions and receiving touchdowns on the season.

Greg Jennings, WR, GB - He didn’t have the type of game I thought he would last week, but the Packers got ahead big very early and since Head Coach Mike McCarthy is not one to run up the score… Jennings was not able to get a big day yardage wise.  Finding the end zone salvaged the day for fantasy owners, but the Redskins have been playing worse against the pass and better on offense than the Lions.

Reggie Wayne, WR, IND - Regardless of who the number two WR will be when Garcon comes back Wayne will be the number one.  After 15 catches and just shy of 200 yards you can’t afford to sit Manning’s most reliable target.

Miles Austin, WR, DAL - See Tony Romo.

Hate

Mike Sims-Walker, WR, JAC – Even when the Jags find a way to beat one of the best teams in the NFL, Sims-Walker was a ghost.  Drop him if you want, no one could blame you.  You definitely can’t start him.

Santonio Holmes, WR, NYJ - As good as I think he will be this season, he has been locked out of the facility of his new team.  Given that he has never played a regular season game in that offense I would expect to see a slow start from Holmes.  He should be considered a flex play this week.

Percy Harvin, WR, MIN - Even though newly acquired Randy Moss will draw the coverage of Darrelle Revis, he still does great with a new start.  The move makes perfect sense as Randy is declining in his career and has not been private about his desire to play with Favre.  The Vikings are all-in on the season and with a terribly tough defense as their first opponent off the Bye, leave Harvin for your flex spot or bench him if you have other solid options.

Justin Forsett, RB, SEA -Pete Carroll already said that he plans to use Lynch early and often now that they have him.  They had done a poor job at converting in short yardage situations and Lynch should take the starting job from Forsett easily. Clearly there is not much trust in this guy in the Seahawks front office so I could easily see him falling off our radar soon.

Shonn Greene, RB, NYJ – The Vikings defense has been doing very well this season, only allowing an average of 87 yards per game.  The work has been split between LT and Greene and since LT is the guy they use in the passing game it is hard to see how Greene can be effective this week.

Jonathan Stewart, RB, CAR – Still sitting this guy until further notice.  Especially against a Bears D only allowing 77 yards per game on the ground and DeAngelo Williams playing much, much better.

Week 2 Friday Mailbag

POSTED BY Big Jim | No Comments »

Question 1: Asked by rico_4_life

Of these 4 WR which 2 should I start this week, PPR league

DeSean Jackson, Dwayne Bowe, Mike Sims-Walker, Austin Collie?

Answer

Well Rico, I do not see Collie as a consistent threat in the Colts offense filled with very viable receiving weapons.  I am concerned that Mike Thomas might be the best receiving threat in Jacksonville since Sims-Walker was not able to catch a single ball against the Broncos.  Dwayne Bowe and DJax are not typical PPR studs, but none of your options are so they are who I would go with.  Both have a really nice match-up in their favor and I expect both to find the end-zone.

Question 2: Asked by @JoelrlHall

Can’t decide who I should start this week Eli or Favre? #fantasyfootball

Answer

The strength of the Dolphins defense is against the run, so the best way to exploit them is through the air.  Favre may not have many receivers he is comfortable with but he should come back with a big game this week.  Eli does have a shootout ahead of him with his big brother, but I think his production will be average and Bradshaw will steal the show.

Question 3: Asked by @PrideOCucamonga

Pick 2. C. Johnson vs Pit., A. Foster vs Was, B. Jackson vs Buf or J. Chaarles vs Cle #fantasyfootball. PPR league

Answer

Ridiculous group of RB’s you have, congratulations.  I know foster is the flavor of the week, but I would bench him.  I expect the Redskins to pay a lot of attention to him and this will leave opportunities for Andre Johnson to have a big week.  I don’t care who is is facing CJ is an auto start and Jamaal Charles has far too good of a match up for you to leave him on the bench.  If you have a flex spot available to you this week use it on Jackson because he should go wild vs Buffalo and he is the most likely to see a boost from the PPR format.

Question 4: Asked by Brad

I have a chance to sell high on Ochocinco and would be able to get Beanie Wells in exchange.  Is this a good deal for me?

Answer

You have a choice here, I think that Beanie’s upside was tied to Leinart’s potential success.  We all know the production we can expect from Derek Anderson and while it provides a consistency to the offense, he cannot lead a high-powered passing like the Cardinals have effectively.  Wells will see some additional work but because of Anderson, Larry Fitzgerald is the only receiver that will need to be double covered and opposing defenses can afford to focus on the running game.

Love/Hate Lists for Week 2

POSTED BY Big Jim | No Comments »

Love

Jamaal Charles, RB, KC – Charles is a dynamic game-changing back that has never been used to his maximum potential in Kansas City.  While it still remains true that the Chiefs did not go out and sign Thomas Jones to ride the bench, Todd Haley will soon be shamed into doing the right thing and stopping this 50/50 time share shenanigans. If that happens this week, Charles just may return the favor for what Harrison did to the Chiefs last year.

Michael Vick, QB, PHI - Typically a QB stepping into a starting job mid-season wouldn’t show up on a list like this… but this one has pro-bowl credentials and a very squishy match up.  While the Bears’ receivers were not able to make big plays vs the Lion’s secondary that was primarily the fault of two Cutler turnovers and Matt Forte having probably the best game of his season.

DeAngelo Williams, RB, CAR – Even though he is in a time share, Stewart did not look very productive last week  and the Panthers tend to ride the hot-handed back hardest.  Playing against among the worst teams in the league should allow Williams the opportunity to have a great week and we all know he has the ability.

Ahmad Bradshaw, RB, NYG – The Texans exposed the weakness of the Colts defense, the running game. Bradshaw is a VERY similar back to Arian Foster and the Giants have begun to embrace him as their lead guy.  Bradshaw will have a big game this week and while he wont be getting any goal line carries I still think he should be able to find the end zone at least once.

Brett Favre, QB, MIN - It will take him some time to find a receiver that he is comfortable with other than Harvin and last week he was unable to get the ball rolling.  I will never ask Favre to play like he did last season but he will have a good game so if you have one of the questionable QBs this week don’t hesitate to start Brett.

Brandon Jackson, RB, GB – He had a lot of chances last week to get him used to his new role as feature back in this high-powered Packers offense.  He has among the best match-ups possible against a weak Bills run D. If you are strong at the RB position I would not blame you for not wanting to put an unknown in over a proven RB2, but you should definitely use him for your flex spot if you have one.

Jason Campbell, QB, OAK – Campbell has been very consistent for faithful fantasy owners that have been willing to ignore bad match-ups and mediocre offensive talent to give this guy a start.  Now he gets the chance to have a good match-up so if you are in a 2 Quarterback league then this is an easy choice.

Roddy White, WR, ATL - This guy is the entire Falcons passing game this season.  White got targeted TWENTY THREE TIMES last week against the Steelers and was able to total 111 receiving yards in a very defensive game in which his team did not score a TD.  Now they play a poor Cardinals team that lost a lot of talent on the defensive side of the ball.

DeSean Jackson, WR, PHI – He may only get two catches this week, but if that is the case I’d say he has over a hundred yards and a score.  Vick is not a QB that DJax can excel with, but regardless of his QB i’d rank him top 10 against the Lions.

Wes Welker, WR, NE – Welker’s confidence in his knee was my issue last week and that cannot be an area of concern any more.  This week I worry about the match up, but with Revis nose-to-nose with Randy Moss all day and how effective the Ravens were moving the ball while attacking the other CBs I think Welker could end up in the top 5 points-wise this week.

Jason Witten, TE, DAL – When the line plays poorly the QB has to use his check downs and quick routes to pick up first downs.  Enter the tight end.  The Cowboys have one of the best in the league and if they want to win they need to get him more involved.  They play the Bears this week and the passing attack will be crucial to their success.

Chris Cooley, TE, WAS – It sure was nice to see McNabb rely on Cooley for the exact sort of plays I love Witten for this week.  Against a high-powered Texans offense the Skins will need to use an areal attack to keep up and Cooley could end up the leading receiver if the Texans decide to double cover Santana Moss.

Hate

Tom Brady, QB, NE – Last season the Bills were able to seriously impact the fantasy point totals of Brady twice, the Jets defense is much better than Buffalo’s so I think it is unreasonable to expect a 300 yard performance from Brady.  Also, it would shock no one if he was only able to get one TD.  I do expect him to be able to use Welker effectively as their only real weapon so as if you don’t have another top 10 QB this week then your gonna have to start him anyways.

Frank Gore, RB, SF - What a disappointment last week!  I am still speechless that the 9ers blew it last week against a mediocre Seahawks team.  With the Saints this week the 9ers will need to attempt to stretch the field.  If Gore has a slow start he is not going to do very well at all.  He is outside my top10 this week but not by much, so your still likely going to have to start him.

Justin Forsett, RB, SEA – Silly me, I thought when the Seahawks cut Julius Jones he would NOT LEAD THE TEAM IN CARRIES ANYMORE.  Seriously Pete Carrol he had 8 carries for 18 yards… what is it about this guy that mesmerizes coaches so much?  It is in my mind the main thing that cost Jim Mora Jr. his job.

Jerome Harrison, RB, CLE – If you owned Harrison at all last year you very possibly benched him for his crazy ridiculous game vs the Chiefs due to the week to week guessing game at who in Cleveland would get the most carries.  Peyton Hillis tied Harrison for 9 carries and one-upped him with a TD.  Don’t start either one till something gets sorted out.

Randy Moss, WR, NE – Have you met Darrelle Revis? He is about to hurt your argument for a new contract mid-season.

Mike Sims-Walker, WR, JAC - Try and not use this guy this week.  He got blanked by the Broncos secondary which is good… but not great.  The quiet reports from local sources in Jacksonville during training camp that Mike Thomas was going to win the starting job were right and he just might pass MSW for the top spot on the depth chart.

NFL 2010 Preseason In Review: Week 2

POSTED BY Big Jim | No Comments »

Week 2 of the preseason is in the books and fantasy football drafts are coming up rather quickly.  As the preseason continues we all carry on our search for sleepers in this years draft.

Eagles vs Bengals

Kolb continues to look strong through week 2, but most surprising to me so far is the involvement of DeSean Jackson in the intermediate passing game.  The primary reason for DJax not being a part of the elite group of receivers this year is that when McNabb left the team so did the deep ball.  Not entirely, but not many people throw long balls like Donovan.  Kolb has been making completions to Jackson over the middle and inside of 20 yards with much more frequency than McNabb did.  This won’t upgrade Jackson in my rankings but it will hold him firm at number 9 and removes a lot of the doubt I had about his consistency. I have yet to see much of anything from LeSean McCoy and I am starting to expect very little from him.  I recommend not taking the risk on McCoy on draft day, not when guys like Joseph Addai and Ronnie Brown should still be available in the next round.

My dislike for Carson Palmer is still growing after this last game.  2 interceptions and a bad decision that got his star receiver leveled in a preseason game.  Good judgment.  Also, there is a lot of talk about how well T.O. has done thus far.  They are trying to get the fan base excited and as much as the fans may love 85, they won’t get excited about him catching balls in the preseason.  My expectations for T.O. are for him to be marginally better than last season.  Someone will be reaching for him on draft day, don’t let it be you.  Lastly, I want to point out that Bernard Scott should never go undrafted this year (except for maybe 8 team leagues).  He has performed well whenever given that chance and with Benson being such a workhorse he is bound to miss a game or two.

Redskins vs Ravens

Even though the ‘Skins were only able to put a field goal up on the board McNabb was able to demonstrate why players on this team will be fantasy-relevant again.  Throughout his time in the game McNabb was able to use his play-making ability to extend drives and keep the defense rested.  Being able to convert on third and long allows Portis to get more carries and receivers to get more catches and yards as well.  McNabb allows this team to have more offensive plays in a game than Campbell or any other option available to them.

The Ravens looked flat this week, even with Ray Rice on the field.  I am certainly not concerned about Flacco as the Redskins were among the better pass defenses in the league last year and they were a much worse team then they are now.  The only player on the Ravens that I do have concerns about is Derrick Mason. He has been hobbled by leg injuries through camp, is getting older and saw only one target on Thursday.  Flacco has a new toy to play with and he is good enough to make him forget that Mason is still on the field.

Dolphins vs. Jaguars

Henne is a great backup option for you this year.  I think he will develop into a top 10 QB by the end of the season, but there could be some growing pains early.  There weren’t any this week however… The Dolphins offense looked very strong and even incorporated Brandon Marshall quite nicely.  Look for Anthony Fasano in the late rounds if you really want a backup TE.  If anyone has the chance to do what Celek did last year, its this guy right here.

David Garrard was having a pretty good night before he got hurt and was pulled out of the exhibition game.  I have seen very little about his injury since it happened which leads me to think it is minor.  He has just enough skill to make Mike Sims-Walker a WR2 or flex play but Maurice Jones-Drew will remain the star of this offense.

Bears vs Raiders

We saw some good things from the Bears this week.  Forte had a nice TD run of 89 yards, which is a great example of how a Mike Martz offense creates holes in the opposing defense.  Cutler had a solid outing, no interceptions as well as finding Johnny Knox in the end zone in the second quarter.

The Raiders played good, solid football in all three phases of the game this week and won the game because of it.  This is a sign of good coaching and a franchise on its way back to prominence.  Not yet though, because there is not one receiver that can be relied on week-to-week.

Other Week 2 one-liners

Malcom Floyd and Legedu Naanee are not to be taken lightly, they will perform in Vincent Jackson’s absence.

Ryan Mathews should be a consistent performing RB2.

The Cowboys will have a few bad offensive games until they solidify their offensive line.

Miles Austin will produce consistently anyway.

Thomas Jones – 3.63 YPC and a fumble, Jamaal Charles 5 YPC and 23 yards receiving… Stop drafting Thomas Jones above round 8 or 9.

Mike Williams should be drafted in a 12 team league.

Arrelious Benn should not be.

Hasselbeck has something left in the tank, but it’s not what it used to be.

Aaron Rodgers really should be everyone’s number 1 ranked Quarterback.
